Special Type of Milk

Special Type of Milk: -

Special Types of milk is the milk that id totally different from animal-based milk and plant-based milk basically it can contain some amount of animal milk, but this milk can be processed in some ways.  There are various types of special types of milk are available to us that are defined as follow: -


1. Lactose-Free Milk: -

Lactose-Free Milk is another type of cow’s milk. Basically, when the lactose gets removed from the cow's milk then that milk is to be known as Lactose-Free milk. Lactose-free milk is regular cow's milk that has had the lactose that is a type of sugar that has been removed or broken down from the milk. 

The process of lactose-free milk is made by removing lactose from cow's milk breaking removing or breaking down of sugar from the milk is called lactose-free milk.


Health Benefits: -

  • This milk is suitable for lactose-intolerant individuals.


Uses: -

  • This milk is completely same as regular cow's milk, but the only difference is that the sugar is removed from cow's milk.


2. A2 Milk: -

A2 milk is a type of cow’s milk which have only A2 beta-casein protein. A2 milk refers to the cow's milk that contains only the A2 beta-casein protein unlike conventional milk which contains both A1 and A2 beta-casein. A2 milk is to be believed to be more easily digestible may be a better option for individuals who experiences digestive discomfort with regular milk.  


Health Benefits: -

  • A2 milk may reduce digestive discomfort compared to regular milk.


Uses: -

  • A2 milk can be used in various types of beverages and cooking.


3. Condensed Milk: -

Condensed milk is also a type of cow's milk but in this version of cow’s milk the water can be removed from cow's milk. Condensed milks are sweetened in taste and thickened in the texture.

Uses: -

  • Condensed milk can be used to make desserts, candies and various types of sweets. 
  • Condensed milk can also be used in making various shakes.


4. Evaporated Milk: -

Evaporated milk is generally a cow milk. It is called evaporated milk because in evaporated milk 60% of water can be removed from cow's milk. That's why this version of cow’s milk can be considered as evaporated milk.

Uses: -

  • Evaporated milk can be used in various purposes like in baking, coffee making and in various creamy recipes.
  • Evaporated milk is thicker in its texture because water can be removed from cow's milk so it can be used in baking various dishes or meals.
