What is Raw Food?
Raw food is a food that can be eaten directly without cooking, or we can say that raw food is a food that we can eat in its uncooked and unprocessed state. The consumption of raw food can be taken in its natural way that no process can be done with the raw food it can be taken in its original form as that the food/product can be purchased from market or can be taken from the field.
The food can be eaten raw so that its natural nutrition cannot be harmed and there are some enzymes present in the food that are valuable only when it is taken in its raw form, on cooking that enzymes may die, and it cannot be able to give us that nutrients that they are capable to give in their raw form. There are different types of raw food that are available to us are explained below: -

Raw foods are available to us in various forms that are explained below: -
Fruits and Vegetables- There are various number of fruits and numerous types of vegetables are available that can be eaten in their raw form. Basically, all the fruits can be eaten in their raw form but if we talked about vegetables so there are very few vegetables that can be eaten raw and mostly there are numerous vegetables that cannot be eaten in their raw form.

Example: -
Fruits: - If we talked about fruits so mostly all the fruits can be eaten raw like Apple, Mango, Grapes etc.
Vegetables: - If we talked about vegetables so there are very few vegetables that can be eaten in their raw form like, carrot, tomato, radish, etc.
Nuts and Seeds

- Nuts and Seeds can be eaten in uncooked and unprocessed form. Most of the people like to roast, toast and seasoned the nuts and seeds but most of the people like to eat nuts and seeds in raw form.
Example: -
Nuts: - Almonds, Walnuts, Cashew, Pistachio, Hazelnuts, Pecans, Macadamia Nuts, Brazil Nuts these nuts are available to us which is fully rich in vitamins, minerals and proteins and intaking of these nuts make us healthy.
Seeds: - Chia seeds, Sunflower seeds, Flax seeds, Pumpkin seeds, Sesame seeds, Hemp seeds these various types of seeds are available for us that is very healthy and valuable for us.
Dairy Products

Example: - Milk, Cheese, Yogurt, Butter, Cream, Ice cream, Buttermilk etc., there are the products which is known as dairy products or milk products.

- Dairy products are also known as milk products. Milk products are those products that are made from milk. Dairy products are also eaten in raw form. Milk products contain lot of vitamins and minerals which is very useful and necessary for our body.

Example: - Milk, Cheese, Yogurt, Butter, Cream, Ice cream, Buttermilk etc., there are the products which is known as dairy products or milk products.
Meat and Sea Food
Example: -Sushi (raw fish), steak tartare (raw beef), carpaccio.- There are some Meat and Sea food items and products that can be eaten raw but only few products not all. Basically, all the meat and sea food products can be eaten in cooked or processed form but there are only few products that can be eaten raw, but to eat meat and sea food in raw form it is necessary to ensure that the products are fresh and should be handled properly or with care.
