Types of Plant-Based Oils

What is Plant-Based Oils: -


Plant-Based Oils: -

  • Plants based oils are the oils that are extracted from the seeds, nuts, fruits or many other parts of the plant. These types of oil can be extracted from many parts of the plant that are very beneficial for us. these types of oil can be used for cooking, baking, salad dressing, in skin cares and other products also. 

  • These types of oil are very rich in healthy fats, especially unsaturated fats, and may also contains essential nutrients like vitamin E and Omega-3 as well as fatty acids also. These Plant-Based Oils are very beneficial for us.


1. Olive Oil: -

  • Olive oil is a Plant-Based Oil that are extracted from the seed of the plant. Olive oil is extracted from the plant of olive and are used in cooking.


2. Coconut Oil: - 

  • Coconut oil is another type of Plant-Based Oil that are extracted from the coconut flesh. This oil can be used in various ways for massaging the body, for massaging the head, cooking, making chocolates and many other. Coconut oil contain medium chain triglycerides which is very helpful and beneficial for our body.



3. Avocado Oil: - 

  • Avocado is a fruit, and its oil means avocado oil is extracted from the part of the fruit. Avocado oil is as beneficial as the fruit. Avocado oil is mainly used in salads. Avocado oil is high in vitamin E and healthy acids.



4. Flaxseed Oil: - 

  • Flaxseed oil is extracted from the seed of the flax plant, and it has same benefits as the flax seed. Flaxseed oil is a good source of omega-3.
