Pickles: -

Pickles are the types of food products which are generally referred to as the preserved food products that is prepared by treating vegetables, fruits and not only the veg but also the flesh items like meat and fish. In the pickles processing we can prepare these it's with salt, vinegar, oil, various types of spices and by the fermentation processes. When we mixed these items with various types of fruits, vegetables and flesh items we generally called as pickling and the main aim of this pickling is to extend the shelf life and to enhance the flavor of the particular item. Instead of this the pickling is also very useful in our daily meal because it makes the seasonal foods available throughout the year so that we can enjoy the different types of fruits and vegetable for the whole year even if the season of that food item is ended. In India, we called pickle as "Achaar" and it is the favorite item of Indians. The food of Indians is incomplete without pickles. Pickles extensive mean is a vegetable (most famously cucumber) or fruit preventing in an airtight container. 

Preserved in salty brine or vinegar solution for giving them a tangy flavor and extending their shelf life. But the term itself or informing a pickling liquid. The process of pickling changes the texture and flavor of the food. A food items (like cucumber, onion, mango etc .) Preserved in a vinegar/ brine solution (water with a high concentration of salt, using sodium chloride NaCl), often with spices like dill., garlic or chili. In USA the taste of pickle is little bit sweet, because they like sweet things more (like dill pickle) Instead Indian cuisine features spicy mango, tangy etc . The tangy flavor of the pickle inhibits it's from spoilage, preserving food. The process of pickling can change the taste of food like spicy, tangy or sour. Some studies suggest potential benefits like blood sugar control and antioxidants from vinegar. While often referring to pickled cucumber, pickles can also be made from cauliflower, onion, mangoes or other produce, and are a popular condiment globally, with varieties like dill pickle, sweet pickle, spicy pickle etc . The process of pickling is believed to have been invented by ancient Mesopotamians around 2400 BC.  Pickles were highly valued in ancient word Cleopatra reportedly believed they contributed to her health and beauty, and Julius Caesar provided them to his troops (like pickle) to strength. 

Types of Pickles: -

* Sweet: - Sweet pickles contain cucumber (or other sweet things) they preserved in sweet sugary vinegar- based brine with spices like mustard, cinnamon, and clove, offering a sweet tangy contrast to sour pickles popular as condiments or sides through moderation is key due to sugar sodium. They range from cucumber relish to mango or lemon pickles. Utilizing sugars availability for preservation, originating from ancient techniques.


*Spicy: - Spicy pickles are vegetables preserved in brine solution with added heat from ingredients like chili flakes, fresh pepper and spices, offering a tangy crunchy flavorful kick to meals, ranging from mild zest to intense fire, common in America in dill styles or south Asian achaar. They are made by infusing pickling liquid with heat sources and be quick brined.


* Tangy: - Tangy pickles are preserved foods often cucumber, mango, lemon made the pickle crunchy and flavorful through a brining process it becomes too tangy, which is very good in taste to eat. 



Some Other Types Of pickle: - 

* Fermented Pickle: - This undergoes a natural lactose fermentation process using salt, water, and time relying on beneficial bacteria to create a sharp, pungent and sometimes fizzy flavors. They typically required refrigeration after the process 8s complete to show down fermentation.    

* Non-Fermentation pickle: - These Method is using acidic brine rather than fermentation. They are often pasteurized and sealed, making them shelf stable under open.

* Refrigerator pickle: - A type of non-Fermented Pickle in which fresh ingredients mixed with brine. And then immediately stored in the refrigerator. They are very church but have short shelf life.

* Cucumber pickle: - In north Africa and many other countries like this pickle very much. First, we collect the fresh cucumber then cut it any size which you like then to store it in a brine solution to make it tangy, crunchy. It's shelf like is long 

* Dill pickle: - Dill pickle is mainly eaten in north area. It is made with herbs. Dill is mainly an herb which is used to make a pickle. This pickle is very good for our gut health. 

* Bread and Butter pickle: - This pickle is taste like a sugary pickle because it stored in sugary brine. Along with spices like mustard, celery, and seeds sometimes used onion and pepper with it.

* Mango pickle: - Mango pickle is both tangy and spicy. Mango pickles are typically made with raw and green mango. It preserved with oil with a mix spices. It tasted like spicy, but it is smooth.

* Onion pickle: - Onion pickle is preserved in vinegar.  It is often small pearls onion or sliced red onion .it is also a common British pub snack.

* Chili pickle: - Chilli pickle is too chili. It is mostly made with many types of spices. It is commonly eaten in Indian. It contains red chili, green chili.

* Mixed pickle: - Mixed pickle is made with different vegetable and fruit. It is also known as pargana achar. It contains different type of flavor in one pickle. Pickles are also more types like beetroot, garlic, roots, lemon etc .

Benefits of pickle: - 

* Gut health: - Fermented pickles are rich in prebiotic that support our gut health, but vinegar-based pickle is   lack in these benefits.

* Antioxidants: - Spices like turmeric, garlic and ginger provides antioxidants that fight against cell damaging free radicals potentially reducing disease risk.

*Vitamins and minerals: - Cucumber and other pickle is rich in vitamin and minerals plus potassium, which keeps us healthy. 

*Muscle cramps Relief: - Pickle juice has sodium and potassium can help replenish electrolytes and ease Muscle cramps faster than water for some athletes.

*Blood Sugar control: - Vinegar in pickle can stabilize our blood sugar. 

* Low calories: - Flavor Taste and crunch in food Without many calories. That making them a best choice then sugary condiment.
